The path ahead

The path ahead
takes me back
to the place
where I started from.
Ashes to ashes, they would say.
We shall incinerate to create.
Again in the flames to once fly free.
I'm afraid. I dare to say.
It feels like the first time all over again.
But how could that be 
If I have died before?
The path is you. You are the flames.
You are the place I want to begin in.
